[Important Notice] Storage Limit Adjustments to Microsoft Office 365 for NYCU Students
According to the announcement "Changes to Microsoft 365 Education Edition Storage Space Allocation" by Microsoft, the cloud storage capacity of Microsoft 365(OneDrive, etc.) for the school will be restricted. Therefore, starting from June 1, 2024, the following capacity limit adjustments will be applied to users with the domain @m365.nycu.edu.tw:
1.Capacity Limit Policy:
a.Enrolled Students: 3 GB
b.Graduated Alumni: 1 GB
2.Activate Capacity Limit Policy:
To help you adapt to the new capacity limit, the Information Technology Service Center will activate a new capacity limit policy on June 1, 2024. After this date, if your storage usage exceeds the available limit, your cloud storage will become read-only. We hope you can manage your usage within the capacity limit range.
3.Accounts Exceeding Capacity will be Disabled and Deleted:
Please reduce the cloud storage usage of your account to below the capacity limit by July 1, 2024. Failure to comply with the capacity limit policy by the deadline will result in account suspension by the Information Technology Service Center. Subsequently, accounts will be deleted on July 31, 2024, and all data will be unrecoverable. After account suspension, you may apply for account restoration, but you still need to complete the reduction of cloud storage usage by July 31, 2024.
4.Modification of Teams Meeting Groups Functionality:
Starting from June 1, 2024, only faculty and staff accounts will be able to create Teams meeting groups. It is expected that all Teams meeting groups created by non-faculty members will be discontinued and deleted by July 1, 2024. However, student accounts will still be able to join Teams meeting groups created by faculty and staff.
