In accordance with the announcement regarding changes to Google's "Workspace for Education Storage Policy," the storage capacity of NYCU's Google Workspace cloud space will also be restricted. Therefore, starting from August 1, 2024, the following adjustments to storage limits will be made for users with the domain @nycu.edu.tw:
1‧Capacity Limit Policy:
a.Enrolled Students: 10GB
b.Graduated Students: 1GB
2.Activate Capacity Limit Policy:
To help you adapt to the new capacity limit, the Information Technology Service Center will activate a new capacity limit policy on August 1, 2024. After this date, if your storage usage exceeds the available limit, your cloud storage will become read-only. We hope you can manage your usage within the capacity limit range.
3.Accounts Exceeding Capacity will be Disabled and Deleted:
Please reduce the cloud storage usage of your account to below the capacity limit by September 1, 2024. Failure to comply with the capacity limit policy by the deadline will result in account suspension by the Information Technology Service Center. Subsequently, accounts will be deleted on September 30, 2024, and all data will be unrecoverable. After account suspension, you may apply for account restoration, but you still need to complete the reduction of cloud storage usage by September 30, 2024.
4.Deletion and Discontinuation of Shared Cloud Drives:
Shared cloud drive space is counted towards the overall school cloud storage quota and cannot be attributed to individual space usage. Therefore, the Information Technology Service Center will stop using and delete shared cloud drives on September 1, 2024.
