Purpose
The Information Technology Services Center provides website construction platform (Web Hosting) services to support the administrative units of the entire university in constructing websites. Using this stable service and reliable hardware network environment will strengthen information security and reduce website management and maintenance difficulties, that could eventually lead to carbon reduction.

Restrictions
  1. Server environment cannot be customized.
  2. Uploading self-developed programs is not allowed.
  3. Installing WordPress plugins and themes outside of those provided by this service is prohibited.
  4. Some updates to built-in WordPress programs might lead to the malfunctioning of certain layouts or plugins, affecting the appearance of users" webpage content.

The Center’s Responsibilities System maintenance, WordPress core version, database, etc.
  1. Provides website hosting only. The Center’s services do not include webpage designing, software installation, software upgrade, website testing, website debugging, website modification, data transfer, resolving security vulnerability.
  2. The Center can assist with installing the foundational of WordPress environment and offer security vulnerability troubleshooting consultation.
Our center only maintains the normal operation of cloud service resources. Users are responsible for the maintenance and management of virtual machines and services built on this platform.

  2. Ensure that the administrator password is sufficiently strong and undergoes regular updates.
