Each unit may only apply for one license.<br />

<div class="ed_txt">Google Chrome has announced that starting August 1, 2025 (from Chrome version 139), it will no longer trust SSL website certificates newly issued by Chunghwa Telecom after July 31, 2025.<br />
From August 1, 2025, all websites using certificates issued by Chunghwa Telecom will display a "Connection is not secure" error message in the Chrome browser, and users will be unable to browse them normally.<br />
Chunghwa Telecom will suspend the issuance of new TLS website certificates starting August 1, 2025. It is recommended that you consider switching to other Chrome-trusted certificate authorities before the improvement measures are completed to avoid service interruptions.<br />

In accordance with the Ministry of Education’s “2025 Cybersecurity Drill for Public and Private Universities,” scheduled to take place from July to September 2025, we kindly ask for your cooperation in reviewing and inspecting your unit's websites and systems, and in complying with the following tasks:<br />
1、Information System Inventory:<br />
Each unit’s cybersecurity contact person is requested to inventory any websites that contain the university's name, domain name, IP address, or are otherwise identifiable as affiliated with the university (including departmental websites, laboratory websites, faculty personal websites, event websites, etc.). The system owner should log in to the "Unit Information Management System" through the single sign-on portal and complete the system usage report by Monday, June 9, 2025.<br />
2、Account Review:<br />
Please inspect the accounts associated with your websites and systems. Accounts using weak passwords should be updated to strong passwords as soon as possible.<br />
Accounts that have not been used for an extended period or are used for testing should be disabled or removed.<br />
3、Vulnerability Scanning:<br />
Units should conduct vulnerability scans on all currently active websites and servers to identify any medium or high-risk vulnerabilities and address them promptly.<br />
The Information Technology Center also provides a vulnerability scanning platform at https://va.nycu.edu.tw for units to use.<br />
4、Recommendations:<br />
It is recommended that all units evaluate their websites and servers. If a system has been unused for an extended period or is no longer maintained, for example : the website of an overdue conference, please proactively shut it down by June 9, 2025.<br />

The system is now fully operational and open for application to all university units.<br />

The HPC platform currently hosts four H100/H200 GPU servers, providing a total of 32 GPU cards for research and educational use.<br />

The platform offers various automated functions, including automatic job scheduling, real-time job status tracking, and periodic usage reports, greatly improving efficiency and ease of use.<br />

Recently, many enterprises and medical institutions have experienced multiple information security incidents and various personal data breaches. To protect your computer and data, we remind everyone to install and regularly update antivirus software. This not only protects your personal computer from viruses and malware but also ensures the overall security of our campus network.<br />

The IT Service Center provides school-wide licensed antivirus software, which can be installed on personal computers running Windows and Mac operating systems. We encourage everyone to install it actively. Once installed, the antivirus software will automatically connect to the central control server of our IT Service Center and update the latest virus definitions to ensure your computer's safety.<br />
