{"subject":"Google Chrome's Removal of Default Trust for Chunghwa Telecom SSL Certificates","dataClassName":null,"pubUnitName":"Information Technology Service Center","posterDate":null,"updateDate":"2025-06-11","detailContent":"<div class=\"ed_model01 clearfix\">\r\n<div class=\"ed_txt\">Google Chrome has announced that starting August 1, 2025 (from Chrome version 139), it will no longer trust SSL website certificates newly issued by Chunghwa Telecom after July 31, 2025.<br />\r\nFrom August 1, 2025, all websites using certificates issued by Chunghwa Telecom will display a &quot;Connection is not secure&quot; error message in the Chrome browser, and users will be unable to browse them normally.<br />\r\nChunghwa Telecom will suspend the issuance of new TLS website certificates starting August 1, 2025.
