In response to adjustments to Google's education account service policy and account calculation method, @nycu.edu.tw accounts used by alumni will no longer include Google cloud storage-related services, such as Google Drive and Google Photos. However, Gmail email service will remain available and will not be affected by this change.<br />
<br />
<strong>Service Discontinuation Date</strong><br />
July 15, 2026 (Wednesday)<br />
Beginning on this date, alumni accounts will no longer be able to access Google cloud storage space or any data stored therein.<br />
<br />
<strong>Affected Users</strong><br />
Alumni holding @nycu.edu.tw accounts.<br />
Graduating students from 2026 onward, who will be subject to the same policy three months after graduation.<br />
<br />
<strong>Services Affected</strong><br />
The following Google cloud storage services will no longer be available:<br />
●Google Drive<br />
●Google Photos<br />
●Other Google services that rely on cloud storage space<br />
<br />
<strong>Services Not Affected</strong><br />
●Gmail email service will remain available.<br />
Please note that if an account has not been logged in to for one year, the account and its associated data will be deleted in accordance with university regulations.<br />
<br />
<strong>Please Back Up Your Data</strong><br />
To avoid the loss of important data, users are strongly advised to complete the backup and cleanup of their Google cloud storage data before July 15, 2026.<br />

<strong>Future Announcements</strong><br />
Any future adjustments to service content will be announced on the Information Technology Service Center website and communicated via email. Please pay attention to related announcements and email notifications.<br />
