However, Gmail email service will remain available and will not be affected by this change.<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<strong>Service Discontinuation Date</strong><br />\r\nJuly 15, 2026 (Wednesday)<br />\r\nBeginning on this date, alumni accounts will no longer be able to access Google cloud storage space or any data stored therein.<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<strong>Affected Users</strong><br />\r\nAlumni holding @nycu.edu.tw accounts.<br />\r\nGraduating students from 2026 onward, who will be subject to the same policy three months after graduation.<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<strong>Services Affected</strong><br />\r\nThe following Google cloud storage services will no longer be available:<br />\r\n●Google Drive<br />\r\n●Google Photos<br />\r\n●Other Google services that rely on cloud storage space<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<strong>Services Not Affected</strong><br />\r\n●Gmail email service will remain available.<br />\r\nPlease note that if an account has not been logged in to for one year, the account and its associated data will be deleted in accordance with university regulations.<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<strong>Please Back Up Your Data</strong><br />\r\nTo avoid the loss of important data, users are strongly advised to complete the backup and cleanup of their Google cloud storage data before July 15, 2026.<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<strong>Future Announcements</strong><br />\r\nAny future adjustments to service content will be announced on the Information Technology Service Center website and communicated via email.
