2026 Freshmen Programming Contest Registration Deadline Extended to 11:00 AM,August 21
2026 Freshmen Programming Contest
Registration Period:

●Registration open: 10 AM, June 8, 2026
●Registration closed: 11AM, August 21, 2026

Competition Schedule:
●Date: Monday, August 24, 2026
●Start Time: 9:30 AM

Eligibility:
1、The competition is open to students who are currently enrolled in their first year (sophomore-to-be) or first year (freshman) at our university.
2、Each team can consist of up to three members, with an optional reserve member. There is no restriction on forming teams across different departments or majors.
3、Students who have achieved third place or higher in the annual competition or the freshman competition are not eligible to participate in the freshman team competition.
4、Note: Due to space limitations in the competition venue, the maximum number of participating teams is 30. If the number of registered teams exceeds this limit, teams will be selected based on the order of registration.

Competition Venue:
The Programming Competition will be held in the following computer labs at our center:
PC4 Computer Lab, First Floor

4、Programming Languages:

●Python
5、Provided IDEs:
●Visual Studio 2019
●Dev-C++ 5.8.2
●JDK 8 + Eclipse IDE 2020-06
●Python2.7.18
●Python3.8.3 (or newer versions)

Prizes and Awards:
Based on the evaluation results, the following prizes and awards will be presented to the winning teams:
●First Place (1 Team)Prize: NT$15,000
●Second Place (1 Team)Prize: NT$12,000
●Third Place (1 Team)Prize: NT$10,000
●Honorable Mention (2 Teams)Prize: NT$8,000
All winning teams (First Place, Second Place, Third Place, and Honorable Mention) will receive certificates of recognition.

Important Notes:
1、Due to space limitations, the competition is restricted to a maximum of 30 teams. In the event of an excessive number of registrations, teams will be selected based on the order of registration.
