In recent years, Microsoft has been vigorously promoting the cloud Microsoft 365 solution, and the Microsoft campus contract changed the licensed content a few years ago to no longer provide graduates with the right to use the campus-licensed Windows and Office software KMS certificates. After the school has repeatedly fought for, the contract for the year 2024 has been fully converted to the Microsoft 365 A3 solution.

As a result, starting from August 1, 2024, all Windows and Office software KMS certificates will be restricted to current students only, and will no longer be available to graduates.

Graduates who have applied for a Microsoft 365 account during their academic period, can continue using the account to access the Microsoft 365 A1 plan (free Office online version) or switch to the free software LibreOffice.
